A BILL to amend and reenact section one-b, article one, chapter
twenty-nine of the code of West Virginia, one thousand nine
hundred thirty-one, as amended, relating to continuation of
the division of culture and history
.
Be it enacted by the Legislature of West Virginia:

That section one-b, article one, chapter twenty-nine of the
code of West Virginia, one thousand nine hundred thirty-one, as
amended, be amended and reenacted to read as follows:
ARTICLE 1. DIVISION OF CULTURE AND HISTORY.
§29-1-1b. Continuation date.
The division of culture and history, together with its
citizen's commissions, shall continue to exist pursuant to the
provisions of article ten, chapter four of this code, until the
first day of July, two thousand three five, pursuant to the
provisions of article ten, chapter four of this code unless sooner terminated, continued or reestablished pursuant to the provisions
of that article.

NOTE: The purpose of this bill is to continue the
Division of
Culture and History
until July 1, 2005, pursuant to the West
Virginia Sunset Law.
